I would recommend just buying the seeds and growing them in just water. I find the vermiculite tends to encourage fungus growth in this climate, no matter how careful you are to only spritz with water, etc

Easy to grow, my cats enjoy nibbling them sometimes. Don't water too much. I watered my cat grass too much and it started growing mould :( had to throw away.

Took about 3 to 4 days to grow. Cat nibbles at it occasionally. Not sure if it helps though ahahah!

Love vitakraft products, most of it is affordable and does what it says. The grass is very easy to grow and if your cat doesn't finish it in time, chop it up and add to their wet food. It grows really fast too.
